Before Krista’s network debut on HGTV’s Save My Bath, she was a rising star at the Actors Studio Drama School under the auspices of James Lipton where she received her Masters in Fine Art. Krista used her training to evolve her quirky, fun and edgy performance style and showcase her design expertise. Further studies at Parsons School of Design solidified her natural gift for creating modern and clean environments with a surprisingly classic bent.
After starring in four seasons of HGTV’s Save My Bath, her second show, Splurge & Save, gained widespread critical acclaim.
A personal expose about Krista in her Manhattan home in HGTV’s You Should Live Here established New York City as the best place to live in America.
Her expert commentary animated HGTV’s Kitchens and Baths, Ultimate Bathrooms, and 25 Biggest Decorating Mistakes. Krista is particularly proud of her work for HGTV’s Spice Up My Kitchen where she designed kitchens for two women dedicated to feeding the homeless and another where she helped a family that lost their home during Hurricane Katrina.
Krista’s most recent projects include home staging for Rob Van Winkle’s estate on The Vanilla Ice Project (DIY Network), and the design of restaurants with Robert Irvine on Restaurant: Impossible (Food Network).
Krista launched her early career in television by appearing in multiple national advertising campaigns, partnering with some highly influential brands including Nestle, Mars Inc., and Procter & Gamble.
